This one I couldn't help but solicit to make a painting for. The colors are literally once in a lifetime, being that many of us in Missouri will never see Northern Lights at home again! This guy I captured in real life in Breckenridge Co on a girls trip. He was perfectly content catching snowflakes while we walked by. I added the bow because I felt this little scene was a gift.

When I create for myself, I like to make little affirmations so when I see them I remember not only how beautiful my baby is, but how she makes me a better human, too. This cartoony style is fun and though it looks simple, it is anything but! Each line i scrutinize, because there are fewer & each needs to stand on it's own for the image.

Family Pets are one of my favorite subjects. Each has a unique shine in their eye I want to capture in paint, pixels, or watercolor.
Bodies are beautiful in all shapes sizes colors and the endless variety makes me want to paint them all. I didn't actually know this until recently when I really started to ask myself, what do I LIKE to make? And here we are with body positivity, something that has been close to my heart since I hosted Body Positive mini Boudoir Shoots for my In-Home Party business years ago. Not feeling so canvas worthy? Art can be transformed to digitals and reproduced and finished with frames for everyone you'd like to gift it to. This example is my mother, on a Cruise excursion in Mexico. I love the joy I see on her face-it's probably subtle to you all, but what I see is a woman learning to live life to the fullest and it makes my heart so full.
Sometimes I surprise myself when I create these pictures of beloved animals. The likeness is so important to me. I want you to gasp when you see their personality come thru.
